I played eagle crest golf course Saturday afternoon 4/12/08 and played my best round yet. I shot a 92! It might sound high but it is personal
goal I have been trying to reach for 1 year now. I would like to thank Ed Daley for that tip you gave me that one day. I've been a better golfer
since.

A Scratch Golfer.

Two women were put together as partners in the club tournament and met on the putting green for the first time.

After introductions, the first golfer asked, "What’s your handicap?"

"Oh, I’m a scratch golfer," the other replied. "Really!" exclaimed the first woman, suitably impressed that she was
paired up with her.

"Yes, I write down all my good scores and scratch out the bad ones!"

Guys in the A flight should be scared. I played Kevin French 5/9 and it may be the easiest 34 on the back nine I've ever
witnessed in 40 years at Frear. He lipped two eagles and two birdies. Do the math and be afraid.

A NEW SHERIFF IS IN TOWN!!!

P.S. What's worse is, he's a nice guy to play with.

I was on Vacation in Florida from February 20-28, 2007. It was actually a company paid business trip but who is keeping track. We stayed at the Hyatt Grand Cypress in Orlando and they had an attached pitch and putt course. The holes were between 35 and 90 yards.

I had my family with me so it wasn't long before my 10 year old son wanted to play. We played the first 9 and I think I only beat him by a few strokes. Then he wanted to play 9 again, it only took about 35 minutes anyways so we started. On the second hole he bladed his wedge like a line drive. However it was at the pin. It hit the stick and then the back of the hole and came to rest about 6 feet away. Although he was happy with that, I tried to be the good dad and point out a wedge should go high into the air and land softly. Good dad right?

Then my wife and daughter appeared and wanted to do lunch. So we went to the 8th hole just to finish. It was 37 yards but had a tricky hump just in front of the green. My son, hearing my words of wisdom from the previous hole, proceeded to hit a high lob directly at the stick. It carried the hump, bounced on the green and rolled until we couldn't see it anymore. Yes, my 10 year old son now had more holes in one after playing a lousy 2 years than his old man and both his grandparents! Half of me was elated for him, picked him up and congratulated him like a proud father should. The other half was in shock as to how this could have happened in the first place, what were the odds. Needless to say, we brought the beat up Top Flight home and it sits in a case. I have ordered his a trophy and display case.

This is a true story and trust me I will never forget it.
